A music hack battle like no other. Combined with one of Europe's best music festivals, Way Out West, hackers will try to create the next greatest music app.

The theme of this hack battle is music discovery. Building something for the actual festival is a bonus.

Hack participants will also receive VIP access to the Way Out West festival.

MONDAY, August 5th

18.00: Drinks, mingle and team building. This is a great opportunity to find a team if you’ve come alone. Don’t be shy!

TUESDAY, August 6th

09.00: Doors open. Please register yourselves with Paul Sonkamble or Andrew Mager (we’ll make ourselves known!)

10.15: Welcome (Paul Sonkamble, Andrew Mager), API Presentations

11.00: Open mic for hack teams (use this to grab a team if you still need to)

11.30: START HACKING!

12.00: Lunch with WOW Crew

19.00: Dinner with WOW Crew

THURSDAY, August 8th

Festival starts. Everyone that presents a hack will get a VIP festival wrist band.

The wiki for the hack battle will be on Challenge Post. If you're participating, please use this page to start collaborating and creating your team now.

Location:

The event will take place on the grounds of the Way Out West festival, at Gothenburg, Västra Götaland County. Hacking will occur in the Press Centre at Vila Belparc. Yes, we have wifi, but it never hurts to bring hard cables!
